Dr.Emmeline Hill who discovered a gene in thoroughbred horses which identifies sprinting ability and stamina, Angel Luis Gonzalez who staged Ireland’s first ever photographic festival and Anne Bedos who founded a bike shop with recycles bikes and provides training and jobs are the three finalists in our 2011 David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards, the winner of which will be announced this Thursday,20th January.

3rd shortlisted DMA 2010 entrepreneur
Our 3rd shortlisted entrepreneur - Angel Luis Gonzalez developed Ireland's first international festival of photography. The PhotoIreland Festival successfully engaged with more than 60 organisations to develop 35 exhibitions in 35 venues showcasing the work of more than 250 photographers. It attracted 45,000 visitors
