Many congratulations to Paul Groarke and Garrett Hussey of Rendez Vu who today were presented as the overall winners of the 2009 David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards! They developed a 'gaming approach' to help students learn foreign languages - see www.rendezvu.co.uk They have won €10,000 in cash and €100,000 worth of mentoring and consultancy advice! The Tanaiste, Mary Coughlan and Dr. Chris Horn presented them with their Award at a reception in the RHA Gallery earlier today. Well done guys!
Also many congrats to RTE's John Murray who won the inaugural David Manley Media Award for his dedication and commitement to covering entrepreneurship on his programme, "The Business."
